Hello all! thank you for take a moment to read out little comic! JP and I are working hard to make sure we stay on schedule and put out quality family friendly comics every Thursday!

Let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is J and I write ‘The Skit and Skat Show!’ I’ve been doing web-comics since 2003 and comics since 2002. I have a wonderful wife named Kaylie and three beautiful children Kodi, Jakob and Saidey. This comic is dedicated to my kids and to everyone’s kids!

The concept of this comic is based on past pets that I have had throughout life. Every character is based on a cat or dog I have had throughout life. Every animal has it’s own personality and I plan to share with you some of the personalities my animals have had!

JP does an amazing job translating my scripts into the comics. To be honest, I don’t give him much to go on as the scripts sent to him are pretty loose and leave a lot of room for artistic stretching. With each new comic I get from him I get more and more impressed by his ability to capture the happiness in the characters.

So tick around! there’s a lot more still to come in the tale of Skit and Skat and all the other characters you will meet down the road!

    hey im the artist!
I like cute! If you like my art check out my website giraffeonstils.com!
Thanks! I liked this comic pretty well. It’s getting easier to draw the
characters to the point where I don’t have to look at my original test drawings.
As I get better with them I’ll start to make the bkrgds and such look better
so stick around reading. I’m sure they can only get better!

Nice to meet you J. :) It’s funny, you remind me of another J I know who does comics, is married, has 3 kids and also loooooves animals. It’s uncanny! I should introduce you.
I like that this is based on real pets. Did you really own a pink cat or is it an artistic interpretation symbolizing your blossoming rebirth of innocence? I hope it’s the former. I’m enjoying JP’s art on this, ’tis friendly and effective. Good stuff.
